The Senators are going to have new jerseys next year maybe they should consider changing their colours to envy green thanks to the goal from Pittsburgh's #14.

I have to give the Senators a lot of credit first of all no one can question the heart of guys like Anderson, MacArthur and Karlson what each of them collectively are going though made this a fairy tale run. Every fairy tale needs a villain and this time the villain won!

Ottawa certainly gave Pittsburgh all they could handle and more. I doubt many saw this series going seven games and the Senators really do live up to their nick name of pesky. I know a loss like that is tough for any fan of a team, but Ottawa you have nothing to be ashamed about you had a great chance to do what Pittsburgh did to Washington and I could have very well been giving you congrats and asking Ottawa to win the cup for Canada.

Well, that was heartbreaking. Still very proud of this team. I wonder what changes to the roster next season will bring .

Great run. Wonderful entertainment.

Sens have great young depth coming in the system.

They will be a lot stronger next year.

Great gutsy run Sens fans, I know (believe me I know) you don't want to hear it right now but you guys showed a ton of heart & have a great future.

It was a great run. The Sens with the right tweaks will be in the mix again next year.

Pens really are a solid team hard to poke anything at them except this. And he may be the weakest link on the team

Good series but the last 3 games were all Pens. Anderson gave them all they could handle.

I dont see the Sens making it this far again for a while. Not with the emergence of the Leafs while considering the Habs, Bruins and Bolts are better teams. Panthers will probably rebound too.

Sad we need to wait several months to watch Karlsson play

Hell of a series and playoffs for you guys! As was said earlier, I know you all are sick today, but nothing to be ashamed of and no reason to think things aren't going to go well in the nation's capital for the foreseeable future!
That's probably the most Sens hockey I've watched in years through the last two rounds. The thing that stood out most to me is, man, I would love to have Kyle Turris on my team! To risk sounding like Pierre Maguire, he just gets it.

Chabot and Harpur should both make the starting lineup. I think Ottawa moves 2 Dmen during the off-season (Wideman+).

Claesson deserves a shot at a top 4 position.

Colin White gets regular top 6 playing time by Christmas.

One huge trade (Drouin perfectly fits the profile of what Dorion wants).

Ottawa needs to prepare to replace Anderson. Not surprised if Dorion decides not to sign Condin but chooses a goalie with a higher upside.

No probably not but either was their fans misquoting me and being complete a$$-hats. Im only stating what I believe to be true.

Like I said in the Pens blog last night...after watching all the Sens post games I felt a bit bad for them. They had a real special group this year. They should be proud of it. Hell, if it wasnt the Pens they were playing I would wanted them to make it becuase theyre a Canadian team. That doesnt mean I think they get back to ECF next year. So yeah, it was stupid to say but now that I've been quoted a bunch of times it's too late to erase...

To go toe-to-toe with a team like Pittsburgh in the third round is nothing to hang our heads about, but man am I still disappointed. I wonder what would have happened had Burrows been able to go instead of Kelly.

Anderson and Karlsson are worth every cent we pay them and then some. A few tweaks and this team can be competitive again next season for sure.

Well played Ottawa, well played. Shame someone had to lose,
Respect to Karlsson and Anderson. I HATE trapping systems, but I have nothing but respect for those two and what they played through.
